SITUATION:
The company is constantly expanding, and their advanced medical equipment must adapt as well. It was therefore essential to move equipment from one floor to another, from one lab to another.
From dismantling lab tables over 5 meters long and reassembling them identically, to transporting heavy and fragile tanks up to 300 kg, as well as installing complete new clean rooms — we handled everything.
The sector requires strict compliance with hundreds of hygiene procedures and safety protocols to preserve these aseptic environments. This meant repeated disinfection, wearing protective suits, and respecting decompression SAS times.
You can say we are well-trained by now!
WHAT WE DID:
Because door openings were too narrow and some corridors too tight, it was impossible to move bulky pieces through doors or windows. So, with muscle power and the help of trolleys, hand trucks, and pallet jacks, we relocated tanks, lab tables, medicine cabinets, and many other specialized materials — all via the stairs!
Most recently, it took six of us to move a 350-kg scientific fridge using a hand truck, step by step!
We perform this type of operation 2 to 3 times per year, often under tight deadlines.
