When Spiroux handles the move between your old and new offices!

CLIENT: SOFICO

SOFICO (Société wallonne de Financement Complémentaire des Infrastructures) is a company financing and managing infrastructure on major road axes in Wallonia. It also aims to accelerate the construction of missing links in the Trans-European road and waterway network across Wallonia.

Among these missing links, it enabled the large-scale upgrading of several lock sites, the completion of the famous Strépy-Thieu boat lift, and the finalization of motorway connections such as the “E25-E40/A602” in Luxembourg. The 3.8 km of missing links helped ease city-center traffic, notably through the Cointe tunnel.

SOFICO is also active in telecommunications: it manages the Walloon fiber optic network along its road and waterway routes to commercialize it, facilitate deployment in harder-to-access areas, and meet the new needs of smart roads.

Finally, SOFICO provides infrastructure and spaces to develop service concession projects that increase renewable energy production: wind, photovoltaic, hydroelectric, and biomass.

MISSION:

After winning the call for tenders, we had the honor of completing the full relocation of SOFICO offices from one site to another, including part of the archiving. The mission included dismantling desks, storage, placement in our storage units (while waiting to occupy the new offices), and repositioning furniture in the new premises.

CHALLENGE:

  • Respecting deadlines and ensuring the protection of all materials (furniture and fixtures)
  • The vinyl flooring required specific equipment to prevent scratches and marks.
  • Custom protection for elevators
  • Minimizing downtime for staff to allow continuous operation and ensure smooth work conditions.

  • Executed the mission in two phases
