Whether it’s for your research offices, clean rooms, or grey rooms, moving a laboratory is a mission that requires careful preparation. It must be planned in advance with the scientific team.
This is a delicate move that demands the utmost attention, both for high-value equipment and for the transport of hazardous materials (e.g., flammable substances). That’s why we add extra precautions to our already strict procedures.
Before the operation, our processes require analyzing the different equipment and materials to be transported, identifying their containers, and creating a detailed inventory.
Each item is catalogued, and its protective measures, as well as its method of transport, are clearly defined.
During the operation, we adapt our procedures according to the different areas :
- In clean rooms, to avoid any risk of contamination, our team wears the required personal protective equipment (special suit, safety glasses, etc.) and follows the specific procedures in each airlock.
- In grey rooms: cover shoes, apron, hair net, and gloves may be required.
