What exactly do we do?
Before the Move
- Take inventory of the items you wish to transfer (furniture, office equipment, clothing, appliances, bicycles, valuables such as artwork, safes, etc.)
- Establish a moving protocol detailing how everything will be handled
- Explain the steps and procedures you need to follow, such as contacting energy providers, postal services, banks, and initiating various formalities for settling abroad. (See our blog for more tips.)
- Handle all administrative matters related to the move itself, including customs formalities, maritime freight, and associated fees
- If desired, assign one or more team members to assist at your home (disassembling furniture, protecting delicate items, packing, etc.)
- Need to store some furniture or belongings in Belgium? We provide secure storage for both short-term and indefinite periods.
- With all this information, the protocol, and estimates, we prepare a free fixed-price quote that includes all taxes and fees (including customs). You’ll know the exact cost of your move.
During the Move
- Packing your belongings and placing wardrobe units for your clothing
- Depending on the situation, we may use a lift or specialized equipment
- Disassembling furniture
- Loading onto the truck and transporting to your new home
- At the border, we present all required documents, ensure your shipment is inspected, and obtain entry authorization
- No need to worry about our staff. For multi-day trips, they are equipped with everything needed for comfort: sleeper cabin, night heating, air conditioning. They also fully comply with safety regulations and schedules.
At Your New Home
- Unloading all your belongings
- Reassembling furniture
- Placing items according to the layout plan agreed with you — no need for you to be present
